Crash
The multiplier climbs until it breaks. Everything else is a decision about when to leave — so here are the odds attached to each exit point.
How Crash works
A multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs. You cash out whenever you like. If the curve breaks before you do, the stake is gone. That is the whole game, and it is the reason it holds attention — every round is a decision you made rather than a result you watched.
Each round is generated from the seed pair before it starts, so the break point exists before the curve is drawn. Nothing reacts to your bet size or your cash-out.
The numbers behind the curve
With a 1% house edge, the probability of the round reaching a given multiplier is roughly 99 divided by that multiplier, as a percentage:
| Cash out at | Roughly how often it hits | In plain terms |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5x | about 66% | two rounds in three |
| 2x | about 49.5% | just under half |
| 5x | about 19.8% | one in five |
| 10x | about 9.9% | one in ten |
| 50x | about 2% | one in fifty |
| 100x | about 1% | one in a hundred |
Figures are the standard 1% edge model, rounded. They describe the long run, not your next twenty rounds.
Read the last column carefully. A 10x target pays well and lands about one round in ten — a twenty-round dry spell is completely ordinary, and if your bankroll cannot absorb it, the target is wrong for your stake.
Auto cash-out
Setting the exit before the round starts removes the two ways players lose money at Crash that have nothing to do with odds: freezing at 1.9x and watching it hit 2.0x, and greed after a run of early breaks. The maths is unchanged. The discipline is not.
The two-bet pattern
A common approach is splitting the stake: one bet with auto cash-out at 1.5x–2x to keep the balance ticking, one left to run for a higher multiplier. It does not beat the edge — nothing does — but it gives a longer session for the same money, which for most people is what they actually wanted.
