Dice
The only game here where the odds are a slider you drag. Payout is 99 divided by your win chance — the missing point is the house edge, in plain sight.
How Dice works
A number between 0 and 100 is rolled. You set a threshold and bet whether the roll lands over or under it. Move the slider and both your win chance and your payout move together — this is the only game on the site where the odds are literally a control you drag.
The payout formula
Payout is 99 divided by your win chance. Pick 49.5% and you are paid 2x. Pick 10% and you are paid 9.9x. Pick 1% and you are paid 99x. The 99 rather than 100 is the house edge, sitting in plain sight at 1%.
| Win chance | Payout | Expected losing streaks |
|---|---|---|
| 95% | 1.04x | rare, but each loss wipes 25 wins |
| 75% | 1.32x | 5 in a row about once per 1,000 rolls |
| 49.5% | 2.00x | 8 in a row about once per 250 rolls |
| 25% | 3.96x | 10 in a row roughly every 18 rolls |
| 10% | 9.90x | long dry spells are the normal state |
| 1% | 99.00x | one hit per hundred, on average |
Every row has the same expected value. What changes is how long you sit at the table before the variance decides something.
Rotating your seed
Your client seed is editable. Changing it changes every subsequent outcome, and rotating the server seed reveals the previous one so you can verify the rounds played under it. That is worth doing once, just to see the proof work — most people never check, which is precisely why the mechanism deserves a use.
Betting systems
Dice is where Martingale gets tried most often, because a 49.5% chance feels like a coin. Eight consecutive losses at 49.5% happen roughly once every 250 rounds, and a Martingale run that starts at $1 needs $255 to survive the eighth. At a few hundred rounds an hour, that sequence is not a tail risk — it is a Tuesday.
